QLD: Crash victim jailed over pain killer fraud

BRISBANE, Jan 13 AAP - A motorbike crash victim with bone cancer was jailed for 18
months today after going on an "astronomical" doctor shopping spree for pain killers.
Brisbane District Court Judge Brian Boulton said Mark Timothy Seage had to go to jail
after using stolen Medicare cards to get 110 drug prescriptions for the pain killer MS

Seage used the cards with up to five doctors in Brisbane and the Gold Coast from May
2002 until March last year.
