He told AAP today he had not yet decided on a course of action.

"There's a range of options open to me. It depends on how things develop over the nextfew weeks," Dr Chadbourne said.

Dr Chadbourne said he had retained the services of barrister Linda McSpedden and solicitorJenny Bull.

"I had a very, very positive meeting with my legal advisers today, we've discusseda whole range of issues," he said.

"I've come away feeling very comfortable with what we've discussed."

Dr Chadbourne said he had recruited his legal team several weeks ago to act on hisbehalf regarding any issues that might arise in the Police Integrity Commission (PIC).

The PIC today said it was concerned about Dr Chadbourne's allegations yesterday thathe was sacked because he gave unfavourable evidence against Police Commissioner PeterRyan at the PIC.
