VXI Corporation has introduced their new Passport(TM) family of products offering interchangeability across different manufacturers' brand headsets and amplifiers.

Each Passport headset model allows immediate connection to a major headset manufacturers' quick disconnect. This provides easy integration in call centers using amplifiers or direct-to-phone connections made by these manufacturers.

Passport-G features a GN Netcom compatible quick disconnect. Available shortly will be a Passport-P version, featuring a Plantronics compatible quick disconnect. Passport V features VXI's quick disconnect. All Passport versions are available in monaural (one ear) and binaural (two ear) styles. The Passport family will also include two amplifiers: the Everon multi-purpose amplifier and a Console, both compatible with VXI, GN Netcom and Plantronics headsets.

Passport headsets include a noise-canceling microphone to block out the unwanted background noise of surrounding agents, an adjustable ratchet headband for a comfortable, secure fit and a highly flexible gooseneck microphone boom for consistent voice input.
